Funding ratio
The coverage ratio is used by the pension fund in determining financial policy
It is the ratio of our assets to our liabilities. The current funding ratio gives a good picture of the fund’s current financial position. This coverage ratio is calculated on the basis of the interest rate term structure observed in the market, without the corrections applied by DNB.
The policy funding ratio is the average funding ratio over the last 12 months. It must be at least 110% before the board can decide whether to increase your pension. Every year in January, the board decides whether pensions can be increased.
