Important step taken towards new pension scheme

Good news: the transition file for the transition to the new pension scheme was officially submitted to De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) and the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM) on Tuesday. This is an important milestone in the transition to the new pension system, which we have been considering for some time.

What does this mean for you?
With the submission of the transfer file, the switch to the flexible contribution scheme is getting closer. The file contains all the agreements, calculations and documents needed to carefully transfer your accrued pension entitlements to the new scheme.

The regulators will now assess the file. Once we have received their approval and the pension administration is ready, the actual transition can take place. We continue to strive for a careful transition in the second half of 2026.

Next steps
Now that the dossier has been submitted, we will be communicating more intensively about the new scheme in the coming period. You will receive more and more information about what the new scheme means. Approximately six weeks before the actual transition, you will receive a personal forecast letter with information specific to your pension situation.
