High score for trust in fund: results of 2025 participant survey

Between 27 October and 17 November, we conducted a survey among (former) participants and benefit recipients. We wanted to know how much confidence there was in the fund and how much people knew about the new pension scheme. The responses provide us with valuable insights for our future communications.

This survey is a baseline measurement for us. We will repeat it a few months after the transition to see what our communication has achieved.

Trust in the fund: 7.7

When asked how confident you are that Robeco Pension Fund will carefully convert your current pension to the new rules, we scored an average of 7.7. We are proud of that. We are doing everything we can to live up to that trust.

Trust in the new system: 6.3

Your trust in the new rules themselves is lower: an average of 6.3. We understand that. The new system is a major change. We will continue to communicate clearly and honestly about it, so that you know where you stand, step by step.

Rating for our communication: 7.3

We received an average rating of 7.3 for our communication. 88.5% gave us a passing grade and 47.5% even gave us an 8 or higher. These are excellent results, but we are not there yet. Not everyone feels sufficiently informed. That is why we are actively seeking out people who are not yet familiar with us.

Immediate action: wider distribution of newsletter

One of the measures we are implementing immediately is that from now on we will send our newsletter not only to subscribers, but to everyone whose e-mail address we have in our pension records.

What do you already know about the new scheme?

Finally, 91.7% of you indicated that you already knew that a new scheme was coming. That is a good basis on which to build.
