Partners pension ex-partner
Were you divorced when your ex-partner died?
If so, you may still be entitled to a pension benefit through Pensioenfonds Robeco. This is because you are legally entitled to the part of the partner’s pension that was accrued up to the divorce date.
After the partner relationship ends, the partner’s pension to which you are (potentially) entitled is called special partner’s pension. Did someone have several partners in the period that he/she accrued pension with Pensioenfonds Robeco? Then the partner’s pension is divided between the ex-partners.
The pension fund will inform you of the partner’s pension to which you are entitled. Upon divorce, nothing changes with regard to the right to orphan’s pension.
