A survey of managers on the ESG characteristics of both the organisation and portfolio investment funds. The responses to these questionnaires are used as input for the annual ESG scorecards.
The ESG Scorecards provide insight into the level of ESG integration among the managers and the underlying investment strategies.
The ESG score of the pension fund’s portfolio is considered above average by the fiduciary based on this analysis. With the exception of the Emerging Markets Local Bond fund and the remaining positions in private equity, the entire portfolio scores average to above average.
Here, we compare the mutual funds with their strategy peers. The two mutual funds with ‘Sustainable’ in the name receive the highest scores, including the recently acquired Robeco Sustainable Global Stars Equities mutual fund.
