Selecting asset managers that demonstrably have an engagement policy and report on it.
The selection of managers actively considers whether they are engaged with companies that are lagging behind in taking steps to reduce emissions.
In the fiduciary manager’s view, three of the four managers (Robeco, abrdn, NT) at least meet the pension fund’s engagement requirements. This is not entirely clear from PIMCO’s engagement reporting. As yet, no action is being taken on this. The allocation to the PIMCO fund is limited.
