Exclusions
Some products and business practices are incompatible
We believe that some products and business practices are harmful to society and incompatible with sustainable investment strategies and are excluded.
We therefore aim to avoid investments that we do not consider suitable. In doing so, we adhere to the criteria of our sponsor Robeco.
The impact of exclusions is limited for most investment funds. For investment funds in developed markets, less than 2% of the benchmark is excluded. An exception to this is the Sustainable Global Stars Equities Fund, which applies a more stringent exclusion list.
Every six months, the fiduciary manager reviews the funds in the portfolio against the pension fund’s exclusion policy. On one occasion, a single fund deviated marginally from the policy, involving very small holdings. This is accepted by the pension fund.
