Sustainability Report 2025

Sustainability in 2025
To give you an insight into what we are doing in this area, we produce a sustainability report every year
Socially Responsible Investment (SRI) forms an important part of Robeco Pension Fund’s investment policy. We therefore take sustainability factors into account when formulating and implementing our investment policy. In the fund’s annual sustainability report, we provide insight into the extent of sustainability integration, the fund’s positioning across various sustainability dimensions, and the potential impact of sustainability risks on the fund.
The fund continues to approach sustainability primarily from the perspective of financial materiality: sustainability information is integrated to better assess risks and opportunities relating to returns and the risk profile. Impact materiality plays a more limited role and is primarily reflected through exclusions and engagement.
Here, we provide a summary of the findings regarding policy in 2025, organised into various themes.
The fund’s socially responsible investment policy will be reviewed in the course of 2026. This review will take into account the forthcoming transition to the FPR scheme. And we will provide a clear overview of the possibilities and limitations for the pension fund, given the situation where investments are made solely in investment funds and where the fund’s members do not share a clear vision on how and to what extent sustainability is integrated into the investment policy.
Given the operational challenges, it will not initially be possible to offer participants different sustainability options during the transition to the new pension scheme. We do, however, hope to be able to offer various sustainability options for each lifecycle at a later stage. This will give us the opportunity to ask participants about their sustainability profile as well as their risk profile, and to reflect this in their investments.
