The fiduciary manager provides an annual survey
Annually, the fiduciary asks the asset managers about the ESG characteristics of both the manager and the investment strategies in the portfolio.
This uses broad questionnaires and existing knowledge about the asset managers as input for the annual ESG Memos. The ESG Memos provide insight into the level of ESG integration among the asset managers and the underlying investment strategies.
Based on the reporting, it can be concluded that the pension fund’s investment portfolio scores average to high in terms of ESG integration. Exceptions are the a.s.r. mortgage fund and the PIMCO EMD LC fund.
